This horse was held up and staying on well when upped to around this trip last time out, which was his seasonal debut run. He looks primed to run a big race here now that he'll strip fitter. The horse's sire produces some decent sorts (he's produced several Group winners), and the horses close to this one in class 2 and class 3 novice races last year provide enough clues to suggest Bentbasa could be on a decent mark of 73 here.
