Good/Bad

by petethebet, london, 27 February 2014

I was impressed with bwin when i first joined them. They are good for betting on the NFL. They are the only bookie I've seen that price up the games a couple of weeks in advance. If you can handicap the games well you have a chance. However, they limit the amount you can win after a while, which is disappointing as I can't have any bets on big outsiders in the golf with them anymore. Probably saves me a few quid though :

Huge amount of markets on loads of different sports. Odds are poor though so shop around. I used them mostly for some Scandinavian lower league matches so were good for that. No problems with withdrawls and like their site and app.

I was disappointed by Bwin. They mainly focus on football markets but their odds aren't very competitive. I tend to compare odds to the exchanges to assess and I didn't find Bwin competitive enough often enough. Easy to use website, good range of markets. Will have to improve odds to compete in this environment.

Worst experience with any bookmaker. No customer service at all, they could not even trace my user name or refer me to a manager. They refused to cancel a bet following emails on an event that had not started. Only allowed my to bet no more then £200 on any particular bet and have refused to snswer my complaint. Don't go nere

Being using bwin for about 3 months now and find them ok to use. positive great range of markets decent odds on most markets. really quick bet settlement. e-mailed customer service and quick response. website easy to use negative you can deposit via maestro , but cant withdraw to them, bank transfer only. there is a 2% charge on deposits. took 6 days to verify i.d even though i e-mailed them passport scan on first day. Paypal is an option but seems to take ages for funds to be returned to account. All in all fairly happy with BWin , just dont like giving anyone my bank account details and begrude paying 2 % They also have a really interesting rewards system inthe for of a shop that you can redeem your points against all kinds of things
