Jay-Z is the betting favourite to be the next rapper to buy a UK Football Club
US Investment in UK Football seems to be rising and rising each year and that looks to continue with betting sites now offering odds on which rapper will buy a UK Football Club next.
This comes after recent reports linking New York's own A$AP Rocky with a move to buy League Two side Tranmere Rovers with the club currently 16th place in the fourth tier of English football.
Odds are offered on who will be the next rapper to purchase a UK team with big names featuring in the market and there are not many bigger than favourite Jay-Z.
Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, has been linked with purchasing Tottenham in the past and it would be no surprise to see him step into soccer for his next investment.
The rapper is founder of Roc Nation Sports which is a management company that has big names on their books such as Kevin De Bruyne, Reece James and Marcus Rashford.

What the expert says...
A$AP Rocky has been linked with buying Tranmere Rovers this week
Massive talk has happened around A$AP Rocky purchasing Tranmere Rovers this week with the rapper part of an investment firm led by lawyer Joe Tacopina.
Tacopina's consortium are reportedly looking at buying an 80% share of the club which is valued at roughly Β£15m and owned currently by Mark Palios.
Palios has discussed a potential sale with talkSPORT earlier this week saying that now seems the best time for him to move on from the club.
"You've seen it with Wrexham, et cetera, at the moment, if you're looking at that group of particular people, the US market is very attractive," he said.

Other big name investment has happened in football with Wrexham the most high-profile
Big-name investment across British football has been more and more popular in recent years with none bigger than Wrexham's Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Rob and Ryan purchased Wrexham back in 2020 and have grown the club massively ever since with the Welsh side now sitting in League One after climbing the football pyramid.
Other investment from overseas from big names includes megastars from the NFL with JJ Watt having stakes in Burnley and the GOAT Tom Brady being part of the investment group in Birmingham City.
