Alan Halsall is now the clear favourite in the betting market to appear on this year's I'm A Celebrity

Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall remains the clear favourite with UK Betting Sites to be a contestant on the 2024 series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! later this year.

Halsall is famous for playing Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street and bookies have shortened his odds into evens to follow other Corrie stars in heading Down Under.

Reports in The Sun last year suggested that Halsall would be appearing on the 2023 series of I'm A Celebrity but that never happened in the end.

Fast forward a year later though and it may well be that he appears on the show this year with the latest probability at 50% that it happens.

Phil Taylor second favourite at 3/1 after telling OLBG he would be willing to head into the jungle

16-time World Darts Champion Phil Taylor is the 3/1 favourite to head into the I'm A Celebrity jungle this year after telling OLBG that he would like to be on the show.

'The Power' retired from professional Darts after the 2018 World Championship and he will fully retire from Senior Darts at the end of this year.

The Power spoke to OLBG about his life and potential of heading into the jungle saying, "Yeah, I’d be open to it. We’ve got to talk, obviously. But Bob (his manager) will sort all that out. I mean I don’t find any challenges in there for what I couldn’t do."

Sam Thompson won last year's I'm A Celebrity ahead of boxer Tony Bellew

Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle on last year's edition of I'm A Celebrity after beating Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage in the final.

Thompson's odds continued to shorten week-by-week with the British public warming to him more and more and this eventually saw him become the champion.

Zara McDermott, girlfriend of Thompson, is 13/2 with bookies to copy her boyfriend and head Down Under into the I'm A Celebrity jungle in 2024.
