Betting remains available on the 2024 Time Person of the Year with Yulia Navalnaya and Satoshi Nakamoto still joint favourites at the top of the betting market to win the award this year.
Alexei Navalny's widow Yulia Navalnaya has become a predominant figure following the passing of her husband Navalny by vowing to hold Russian President Vladimir Putin responsible for his death.
Bookmakers have put her as the joint favourite in the market alongside Satoshi Nakamoto who is the name used for the pseudonymous person or people who developed Bitcoin.
We are unaware still who the person is in real life with CNN reporting that the UK courts back in March ruling that Australian computer Scientist Craig Wright is not the founder of Bitcoin.
Paddy Power are unable to separate Navalnaya and Nakamoto in the betting market with both given an implied probability of 27.8% of being crowned Time Person of the Year.

Donald Trump follows in third place in the betting market
Former US President Donald Trump is the third favourite in the odds list at 3/1 as he runs for President once again later this year.
It would be no surprise to see Trump awarded Time Person of the Year for the second time after he was originally given the award back in 2016.
Trump was elected as US President that year, defeating Hillary Clinton in the race for President and this then saw Time pick him as their Person of the Year.
Taylor Swift was the winner of the Time Person of the Year for 2023
Taylor Swift was crowned 2023's Time Person of the Year last December with the magazine's editor-in-chief Sam Jacobs giving the reasoning behind the decision.
"Swift found a way to transcend borders and be a source of light," said Jacobs piece in Time's December issue which went into detail around the pop singer being voted ahead of political leaders around the globe.
Swift had a massive year with her Eras Tour passing the $1b mark in terms of the money that it had made and she has continued to rise further and further in her stardom this year.
