Nadiya Hussain leads the market to replace Gregg Wallace as MasterChef presenter
Betting odds are now given on who will be the next presenter of hit BBC show MasterChef following the resignation of Gregg Wallace after an investigation into his conduct on the programme.
With such a big role left to be filled the odds look at who could fill his shoes on the show which is presented alongside Australian celebrity-chef John Torode.
Former Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain is the leader of the early market to present Masterchef after various cookery appearances on the BBC over the years.
Hussain has featured on her own shows Nadiya's Family Favourites and Nadiya Bakes on the network as well as presenting The Big Family Cooking Showdown alongside Zoe Ball back in 2017.
Now the betting odds suggest a 33.3% chance that Nadiya is the next person to appear with John Torode as Masterchef presenter with the BBC looking for a quick replacement for one of their biggest shows.

Wallace stepped down from show after misconduct probe
Last week Gregg Wallace stepped down from presenting Mastercgef following a BBC News investigation that revealed several allegations of misconduct against him.
Wallace had already recorded the Christmas edition of the hit show but the BBC revealed that they would be pulling it from schedule due to the ongoing probe with the presenter.
“The celebrity Christmas specials are obviously a different type of show and in the current circumstances we have decided not to broadcast them," the BBC spokesperson said.

John Torode's wife Lisa Faulkner also appears in market
English actress Lisa Faulkner also features in the betting odds to present Masterchef alongside her husband John Torode with the BBC potentially using their chemistry to have an easy fit into Wallace's position.
The pair have presented together before on John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen and that may make BBC bosses try and get Faulkner to present Masterchef next.
Faulkner and Torode met through Celebrity Masterchef when she appeared on the show back in 2010 and fast-forward 14 years later they are now married.
Betting odds suggest a 20% chance that it'll be a Torode and Faulkner pairing again on Masterchef with the actress becoming the next presenter of the show.
