Popular Australian soap Neighbours is set to return to screens next week after the show's shock cancellation by Channel 5 last year saw the show unable to continue due to funding.
Fast-forward a year on though and Neighbours returns next week on September 18 after Amazon Freevee picked up the show with new episodes streaming on the platform in the UK and US.

Neighbours cancellation came as a shock to many last year and the show had to end due to Channel 5 axing the show with production company Fremantle unable to find another channel for the show.
The goodbye episode of Neighbours saw massive stars return to Ramsey Street including Kyle Minogue and Jason Donovan with more than 2 million viewers tuning in.
Hundreds of classic episodes of the show are available to view on Amazon Freevee which will be the new home of the soap, with Network 10 still airing the show in Australia.

The Neighbours Reboot trailer teases a surprise wedding with wedding bells expected to be coming to Erinsborough after viewing the soap teaser for the return.
