Neil Young is now 1/3 favourite to headline the 2025 Glastonbury Festival
16 years on from his last headline set at Glastonbury, Neil Young is now the clear favourite at 1/3 to top the bill at the famous festival in 2025 after reports of an appearance.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that Young is on the cards for the headline slot at Glastonbury next summer with Emily Eavis looking to get the festival line-up completed.
Eagle-eyed fans have also spotted Young's website referencing the 2009 Glastonbury Festival with a picture of the ticket from that year and a letter from a fan about his headline slot.
It looks increasingly likely that those hints and references could be coming at a suitable time with the betting odds now suggesting a 75% chance that he headlines one of the three nights on the Pyramid Stage.

Bookies slashed Matty Healy and co's odds from 20/1 into 1/2 to headline Glastonbury 2025 and they have stayed that way with no headliner reveals as of yet.

Olivia Rodrigo expected to wrap up the festival on the Sunday night
The expected third headliner for Glastonbury 2025 is American popstar Olivia Rodrigo with the singer sitting around the top of the betting market for the last 6 months.
Rodrigo will perform as BST in London on the Friday night of Glastonbury weekend before heading north for dates in Manchester that were rescheduled from earlier this year.
This leaves a gap inbetween at the weekend for a Glastonbury headline slot and it has been reported that she will wrap up the festival on the Sunday evening.
The only two acts confirmed so far are also on the Sunday with Rod Stewart this year's Legend followed by Chic with Nile Rodgers self-confirming.
