Ahead of the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie, bookies are offering a whole host of betting specials around the movie including odds on potential cameos.

Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds is a co-owner of League One side Wrexham alongside fellow actor Rob McElhenney and it's been suggested that we may see some Wrexham players appear in the movie.

The film franchise is known for being extremely comedic, tongue-in-cheek and has plenty of fourth wall breaks that address the audience and it may be that a Wrexham cameo is shoe-horned in there.

Star striker for Wrexham Paul Mullin is the 6/4 favourite to appear in the movie with the latest betting odds saying there's an implied probability of 40% that it happens.

Deadpool & Wolverine is 15/8 to be the Highest Grossing Film in 2024

The third film in the Deadpool franchise is set to be released in July this year and it's currently the second favourite to be the highest grossing film worldwide this year.

Despicable Me 4 is the favourite at the top of the betting market with bookies putting the movie at the top of the odds list in a massive month of cinema with it also set to be released in July.

Deadpool and Wolverine will be released two weeks after Despicable Me 4 and it may well be this year's version of the Barbenheimer Box Office battle.

Wrexham are owned by Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds with player Ollie Palmer reportedly spotted in trailer

Ollie Palmer has made hints that he was in the trailer of the movie after eagle-eyed fans said they could spot him in the background behind the main characters.

Palmer replied to Reynolds post of the trailer on Instagram saying, "If you squint..." and has since reportedly said that it is him.

We won't know for certain until we see the movie up on the big screen but it is expected that we will see some sort of cameo from a player and this could be it.
