Betting odds continue to be offered on the 2025 Academy Awards with The Brutalist now shortening into odds-on to win the coveted award for Best Picture.

The historical drama looks at László Tóth, a Hungarian-born Jewish architect who survives the holocaust and emigrates to the United States to pursue the American dream.

UK Betting Sites have had the movie in and around the top of the betting market for Best Picture in the past few months and it's now at its shortest price yet at 1/2.

Those odds from William Hill give a 66.7% implied probability that the Brady Corbet directed movie will win Best Picture, with Corbet himself 1/4 for Best Director.

Comedian and former late-night host Conan O’Brien was confirmed as the host of this year's Oscars towards the back end of 2024.

O'Brien hosts the prestigious event for the first time but has previously hosted the Emmys and MTV Movie Awards during his career.

The 2025 Oscars nominations will be announced on 17 January with the ceremony taking place on 2 March.
