Delaine Le Bas has shortened into favourite for the Turner Prize
Betting odds are still available on the 2024 Turner Prize with Delaine Le Bas now moving into favourite for the award in what is an extremely tight market.
Le Bas currently sits at 5/2 with betting sites to win the Turner Prize after switching places with former favourite Claudette Johnson who drifts out to 3/1 in the odds list.
The British-Romani artist has been nominated for her presentation Incipit Vita Nova. Here Begins The New Life/A New Life Is Beginning at Secession, Vienna.
Tate Britain's announcement said that "the jury were impressed by the energy and immediacy present in this (Le Bas) exhibition, and its powerful expression of making art in a time of chaos".
