Kamala Harris is now the second favourite to be Time Person of the Year behind Donald Trump

Kamala Harris is now the second favourite to be crowned the 2024 Time Person of the Year with UK Betting Sites now adding the Presidential candidate to the market to win the award.

Harris replaced Joe Biden as the Democratic presidential candidate earlier this summer and has instantly become popular, with her odds tumbling to win the US Presidential Election in November.

The Time Person of the Year has been given to election winners in the past with Harris and Joe Biden actually winning the award back in 2020 as running mates, becoming the first running mates to do so.

Now though it may well be time for Harris to step out of Biden’s shadow both as the new US President and the Time Person of the Year with the latest odds seeing her come into 21/10 with Paddy Power to be crowned winner of the latter.

Harris is odds-on favourite to win the upcoming US Presidential Election

Harris is the favourite to be voted in as President in November’s US Presidential Election with the odds changing in recent weeks following the debate between her and Trump.

Despite many expecting Harris to struggle against Trump in the televised debate, the Democratic runner impressed and had Trump reacting to a number of her comments.

Following that debate, Harris cemented her place as the favourite in the market to become the US President with bookies now putting her as 10/11 in the odds.

Trump has therefore drifted slightly in the betting market.
