All explained in greater detail in this review, these pros and cons allow users to scan and understand where the strengths lie quickly.
All the in-play markets can be found through the “LIVE” part of the sports menu. There’s plenty of sports on offer, and the drop down will show all available. At the time of review there’s a selection of football, basketball, tennis, cricket and horse racing, plus some more minor sports. . You can check if they make it into our best bookmakers for in-play betting here.
1xBet doesn’t offer any live streaming at the time of review.
This appears to be quite a strong point for 1xBet. We checked tennis, football and basketball for in-play odds, plus football, horse racing, and cricket for pre-match and antepost odds. These are right up there with some of the big bookies, especially for the likes of horse racing and football. There’s also plenty of minor sports covered, and the pricing here seems to be on point. Overall, it’s very impressive.
Compared to our best football betting sites, 1xBet scores well, even if it doesn’t make the Top 10. The strengths are the event coverage, the market depth and, especially, the odds. As mentioned you can get value here that is as good as most bookies, if not a bit better. The downside is that there isn’t much in the way of promotions, and for football, you’d like to see something. On top of that, there’s no live streaming, however, and the in-play betting isn’t as good as some others, which is why it doesn’t quite make our top 10.
Unfortunately, 1xBet has no Bet Builder feature.
This is pretty poor overall. The main source for promos is multi-sport, and that gives bettors free bets if they lose 20 bets. That means there’s an obvious focus on rewarding loyal customers, and it also goes across all sports and types of bet, which is good, but there isn’t any of the usual offers. I can’t even see any odds boosts, for example.
Cash out is a very important betting feature for punters these days so it's crucial that bookies integrate this feature into their mobile betting apps. 1xBet have done this well, allowing their customers to instantly cash out their bets on any device they like.
The horse racing at 1xBet is fine, but, and there’s a theme starting to build here, the focus is on the odds and value, and not much else after that. If you just want to bet on some winners at a good price then this offers a great option. If you want to start getting a bit more creative with your betting then you’re going to struggle, because there’s no option for Tricasts or Forecasts, and I can’t seem to build multis. If you want to place a treble, Lucky1 or anything along those lines then it doesn’t allow you to, which is pretty disappointing.
The odds alone make it solid enough, even without the added extras, but you can see how they compare to our top 10 best horse racing betting sites.
A full range of American Sports is available, including all the major leagues, plus college games and the same sports across the globe.
The American football betting at 1xBet is okay. In terms of product design, I’d like to see greater focus on each game’s spread, and then total, rather than moneyline odds. It’s actually quite difficult to work out the spread (probably the most important market in American football), without scrolling through all the options and comparing the odds. It all feels clunkier than it should be.
It’s a shame that that’s the case, because on the plus side there are actually tons and tons of markets, plenty more than most other bookies. If it was presented in a better way this could be really good, but as it is it really makes you work to find it.
It’s worth checking out our best NFL betting sites to see how 1xBet compares.
1xBet has a great selection of basketball leagues to bet on, there are hundreds and hundreds of competitions. There’s obviously the NBA, but 1xBet covers a wide range of EuroLeague and domestic world competitions, including leagues in Uruguay, China, Costa Rica and Australia, among others. There are also plenty of markets per game, with game, team and player markets covered impressively but, like the American football betting, it’s quite tricky to find. It’s quite impressive once you’re there. You can also compare 1xBet to the best basketball betting sites.
1xBet covers the MLB in decent depth, but they also have competitions from Japan, South Korea, France, the Netherlands and a few more. The markets, and the odds, especially on the outrights, look pretty good. The MLB season is well underway and there are loads of things to bet on per game, but there’s no option to bet on futures, which does seem a bit odd.. Keep tabs on the top baseball betting sites though, to see why they make it onto our list.
There are lots of competitions around the world included here. Aside from the NHL, there’s some Czech, Finnish and Russian fixtures included, among others. I selected an upcoming NHL game and there are loads of markets listed – more than pretty much anywhere else. For the smaller leagues that reduces a bit more, which is understandable. It’s quite nice to see some odds on the NHL Draft, also, that’s definitely something that you won’t get everywhere. Like the other American sports, unfortunately, there’s no markets for futures.
1xBet doesn’t offer any greyhound racing betting at the time of review.

By Luke Bradshaw Lee - This is a bit clogged. 1xBet doesn’t union and league into different categories which, and then orders alphabetically, so when looking for different competitions you are jumping from one code and/or country to the next. You can use the search function to find in the first place, but scrolling through this is a bit jarring. That said, there is pretty much every competition that you’d want to be included here, which is really good to see. For rugby league there are more competitions here than most other bookies, with loads of markets for NRL, plus Super League and RFL competitions included, too. See how they compare to our best Rugby betting sites.
By James Banting - I’m really impressed with the tennis betting options on 1xBet. There are all the majors listed for next year, with outrights offered on all, and for upcoming matches there is a decent selection of ATP, WTA, Challengers and ITF matches also. The odds are pretty good. Scanning the ATP matches over the next couple of days I can definitely get some value here, so that, coupled with the great event coverage, makes this absolutely somewhere that I’d come back. See if they make it into the top 10 tennis betting sites on OLBG.
By James Banting - As with all the sports listed on 1xBet, it clearly displays how many games there are to bet on per sport. When I went to check out the golf section there are 108 different events so I already know that there’s going to be enough before I’ve even clicked and dug any deeper. As expected, all the majors are there for next year, plus more immediate, smaller tournaments such as the Magical Kenya Open, TGL and Mexican Open. It’s worth checking our best golf betting sites to see how 1xBet compares – but generally this is pretty good.

Whilst these sports might sound very niche, there is still a large enough market for fans, and millions of them in Ireland, so good coverage of niche sports and events is key to be reviewed on OLBG; let’s dig in a bit further.

1xBet does have casino. It's incredibly easy to find their casino offering from their sportsbook, with banners across the top. They also have some bonuses and offers that lead to casino spins should you win sportsbook bets. Check our Casino Sites page for dedicated new online casinos and slot sites.
A reassuringly easy process. At the top-right of the screen 1xBet has their “Registration” button. Bettors just need to select this and follow the simple steps as guided through. You’ll be asked for the usual information – name, date of birth, address etc – and once complete be sent a verification email. Clicking this from your inbox will redirect you to the site, and then you’re free to get betting.
The 1xBet app is really good and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been built to cover all bases. It does exactly what you want and that is not to feel too far removed when you switch from one device to the next, but also being product-led, and designed to suit its purpose as a proper mobile version.
This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. Within a few minutes of signing up to 1xBet I placed a couple of bets on different sports, one of which took advantage of the welcome offer, and I used their bet builder feature, which was very indeed.
As mentioned above, the design really helps this along. On the desktop version, it’s stuff to the left of the screen. On the app, it’s all at the bottom, with just the login at the top. I haven’t experienced any issues logging in, or finding customer service options, either. Overall, it feels like 1xBet has got this part nailed.
As with all online betting companies, responsible gambling should be and will be an essential element of the service provided.
