Best Betting Site for Next Rangers Manager Betting

There is a huge range of UK Bookmakers to choose from but only very few that offer next-manager betting, if at all - As we have covered every club management change over the seasons, looking for betting odds on who the next club manager will be, we have found the following betting sites to be the most reliable and quickest to get odds up for the next manager at most clubs

Who Could Be The Next Glasgow Rangers Manager

Before Philippe Clement was appointed Glasgow Rangers Manager, there were plenty of contenders listed by the best betting sites.

Kevin Muscat

Image: Paladisious, CC BY-SA 4.0 , via Wikimedia CommonsMuscat played briefly for Rangers between 2002 and 2003. Apart from this, the reason the bookies like his chances is his connection to Ange Postecoglou, the former Celtic manager. He worked with the ex-Hoops manager during his time as a coach with the Australian national side when Postecoglou was the boss. He then succeeded him at Melbourne Victory and then again at his current club, Yokohama F. Marinos. Rangers would surely likely to create the success he brought to Scotland. He was at one stage, 6/4, to be appointed before Clement was named the new manager.

John Eustace

Having guided Birmingham City to sixth place after eleven games, he was sacked by the West Midlands club. The timing of the sacking resulted in him being second favourite for the Rangers job at fluctuating odds between 16/1 and 6/1.

In early 2024 he took on the managers position at Blackburn Rovers.

Steven Davis

Davis was the temporary Rangers boss when Michael Beale was dismissed. He was 16/1 to be appointed permanently.

Pascal Jansen

Jansen was in the frame to replace Ange Postecoglou when he moved from Celtic to Tottenham Hotspur. His name has also featured towards the head of the next Rangers manager market. The English-born Jansen was raised in Holland and has managed two clubs in that country, Jong PSV, which is the reserve team of PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar. In 2024 he was appointed to Hungarian side Ferencvaros.

Derek McInnes

The current Kilmarnock boss was in charge at Aberdeen for eight years between 2013 and 2021. He guided the Dons to League Cup glory in 2014 and came close to repeating that feat in 2017 and 2019, losing in both finals to Celtic. The Hoops were also Aberdeen’s nemesis in the 2017 Scottish Cup. Whilst in charge at Pittodrie, his win percentage was nearly 54% of his 378 games. McInnes also tested his skill down south when managing Bristol City between 2011 and 2013.

Frank Lampard

In a similar position to his England midfield colleague Steven Gerrard, his managerial standing has been knocked by poor results and being let go by English clubs. Lampard has been in charge of Chelsea, Derby County, and Everton, but none of those jobs have lasted longer than eighteen months.

Graham Potter

A manager who needs to rebuild his credibility after his Chelsea debacle that saw him win only 12 of his 31 games, a win percentage that was unacceptable for everyone connected to the Blues. An appointment away from English football may be a perfect fit and good timing for the man predicted to one day manage the English National team.

Nathan Jones

The Welshman has now managed four clubs: Luton Town (twice), Stoke City, Southampton and his current club Charlton Athletic.

His time away from Kenilworth Road has not been a great success, lasting only thirty-eight games with the Potters and fourteen games with the Saints.

Steven Gerrard

After an incredibly successful managerial spell at Ibrox, where his team wrestled back the Scottish Title from Celtic, he was lured back to English football by Aston Villa. His time at the West Midlands club was not a happy one, and after 40 games stretched over two seasons, he was sacked. At the time of the Van Bronckhorst sacking, the bookies seemed to like his chances of returning to Scotland.

Kjetil Knutsen

The Norwegian manager is in charge of FK Bodo/Glimt. As a club, they have punched above their weight in the Norwegian Eliteserien League and European knockout football. Their success has alerted UK clubs, and Knutsen is becoming a regular name on next-manager betting lists.

Gio van Bronckhorst has already had managerial experience, with 4 years at Feyenoord including a first Eredivisie title in 18 years for the club. With odds of 11/10, betting sites have placed van Bronckhorst as favourite for the job in the early market.
