7:15 Windsor Tips

Elmonjed was entered at Royal Ascot last week but pulled out quite late. This race looks like it could be ample compensation. He has run two cracking races this year being a close up 4th each time behind 2 horses in More Than Thunder and Aramran, who both ran blinders at Royal Ascot last week, finishing 2nd and 6th in the highly competitive 28 runner Wokingham Handicap.

Yet to win in 5 races on turf but twice a winner in 6 all weather runs. Of interest trying this shorter 6 furlong trip for the first time in his career, which could just suit.

Indian Run changed yards in April and has had three improving runs in C2. Worth another go off the same mark after finishing third ahead of Elmonjed last time out.

The Brian Meehan trained Toca Madera is a c&d winner who acts on the ground. The 4yo Bated Breath gelding hasn't been beaten by much in the majority of his last 6 runs since winning over c&d off 94 back in Aug 24. He is in here off 96 but Tommie Jakes takes off a handy 5lbs which could make all the difference.

Havanagreattime stepped up here two weeks ago and finished second behind Durham Castle with Amazonian Dream behind. He was ridden up with the pace. He still appears to be going the right way. Some higher rated rivals to face but can be competitive from the same rating.

Amazonian Dream is an old favorite of mine who won this last year off today's mark of 84. His last C2 win was in December off an 89. This year, he has mainly run in C3 while dropping down the weights, but I think the return here in C2 today could see a revival each way.

Zoulu Chief has lost his way in his 3-year-old and 4-year-old career so far but could step up here in his second run since wind surgery and wearing first-time blinkers. Went off as the favorite last time but looked not quite right and didn't get the breaks.
