5:20 Windsor Tips

Looks a very tricky race, but the booking of Oisin Murphy catches the eye on this one. He should hopefully take a lot of beating after finishing a 3/4 length 3rd of 5 to 'Pop Dancer' at Goodwood (5f) on good ground in a Class 5 handicap earlier this month. He looked very unlucky not to finish a lot closer, having been denied a clear run late on, so can hopefully make amends with a smoother passage off the same mark.

The Coffee Pod has a big chance now racing off a 3lb lower mark than last winning rating. Conditions look ideal for a big run from stall 4.

The yard are going well and the jockey always is. I'm hoping this one can strike again after a troubled trip at Lingfield last time.

Faustus won last year during the summer months off 72 and 75 and maybe peaked with a 3rd off 78 at Ascot. Following a couple of poor runs at the back end and a prep race last month when unfancied, he arrives today off 75 and quietly fancied (15-->10 on Betfair).

A four-time winner when fresh, Lipsink has a course and distance win and also two C&D 2nds under his belt. His last race is best excused as the hood was a bit late coming off at the start, which meant he wasn’t up with the pace and hence was eased once the chance had gone.
