Fallon aboard this French Zarak gelding. Did put up a good show at Deauville in a maiden debut last year in August. Contested three maidens, two of them on better ground in the UK, and then a 4th in a handicap first time back in April under a claimer. With improvement forthcoming, chance taken on the 3-year-old gelding from the Meehan yard.

This is a wide-open race here with the majority in with chances. I like the look of White Chapel Road, who at least knows how to win a race. Winner at Brighton over 7f in September. Gelded and made a promising return LTO when 4th over 7f at Newmarket. Should be fitter for that and with improvement expected and upped in trip, should go well.

The Beckett yard has enjoyed a fantastic week and remains in good form. This one still looked a shade green on the last run, but the step up in trip will help on handicap debut.

Jamie Spencer's hold up tactics look to be the perfect match for this horse. I'd expect him to hold the horse up and start picking them off in the final couple of furlongs. The horse makes his turf debut here off 77 on handicap debut and the trainer has proven very adept at getting his horses running off great starting marks in his short training career. This looks to be his trip too based on the limited evidence we have and hopefully the switch to turf will unlock his true potential.
