Unequal Love has won 6 of her 14 races, including at Listed level last season. She finished last season by finishing 3rd in the Group 1 Sprint Cup over course and distance and was then beaten just under 5 lengths in the Champions Sprint at Ascot. She was 5th on her reappearance at Newmarket 3 weeks ago, but with improvement likely, she has a standout chance here.

Has been a runner-up in the last two listed races she has taken part in. Goes on fast ground and should be in the mix at the end.

Has Group level form to their name and was unlucky in running in a similar level listed event in Ireland Lto, when they were checked in running, coming 6/12 beaten 4.5 lengths. Under used jockey up and shrewd trainer best here with his 3yo's last 5 seasons, making current 8/1 very good Ew value in the race.

Unequal Love brings obvious claims on last year's best, though this feels like a bit of a recovery mission after what was seemingly a lackluster reappearance. A couple of 3-year-olds are weighted to match her here, getting 9 lbs, and it’s Rogue Sensation that tickled me at the odds. She was progressive in the latter stages of 2024, winning a weak maiden comfortably before following up with a solid Listed 2nd in France behind subsequent French Guineas 5th Better Together, who is a Group 3 winner. The drop back a furlong is a plus on the evidence of that effort, and whilst Bethell has noted his horses have needed the run this year, he is in a fairly decent run of form having had 6 of his last 11 place, and it’s a sole runner for him here where he is 13/26 a place in non-handicaps the last 5 years. There would be hope on her dam's side that she can cope with a quicker surface, and at the odds, looks worth an each-way play.

Karl Burke's filly is currently a huge price. She's placed at listed level under a year ago and finished her last race really well. Previous winners have run in a handicap LTO, and she can't be discounted on her preferred ground.

No extra places here and a huge gamble on French Sand trained by Archie Watson, who does well with his 2yo/3yo runners. Two 2nd places and a win in Class 5 maidens over 6f on the AW at Wolves, so huge jump into this Listed race today. Ran really well on debut but not given a great ride NTO, but the winner looked decent and won with plenty in hand LTO by about 3L, so still improving and will have a small EW at 50-1.

This one is a bit of a long shot gamble, so small stakes here as only 3 places on offer. Pure Angel has struggled to make an impact in listed company recently and hasn’t won since her AW successes in 2022. However, the basis of my choice here is that she drops in class here, which might help. Small EW punt at 80/1.
