In his latest outing, he wore cheekpieces for the first time, which will be retained, and finished a commendable 2nd in a handicap at Wolverhampton 27 days ago, narrowly losing to an improving competitor. He certainly holds promise as he returns to turf.

Forest Hills has plenty of form in the book at around this handicap mark. Although his win came over ten furlongs, he has run beyond 12f and three times at 12f, so he should be competitive in a weak field.

The only horse in the field that has won over the distance previously. Wouldn't be surprised to see it go close again.

Bred to be so much better than a 59-rated handicapper, a full-sibling to group winners, including on soft ground. Dam was a winner on heavy so his first try under these conditions could bring about improvement and the money has come for him early on.

A decent return run from the 6yo in the spring, not so great after. You would hope that the Irish raider is not here to make up the number. He’s weighted to run a big race judged on some of his form from last year.

Alice Haynes has brought her charge into handicap company for the first time, and off a rating of 60, that could see the grey colt giving notice of substance. This can see apprentice Christian Howarth taking off three pounds, getting a good run from the Kodi Bear-sired colt with the view of good to soft ground bringing the best out of him.

Massive price but looks on a winnable mark. Looks better on the sand but has not run much on the turf, and the easier ground may help. Has run well after a break, so worth an end-of-month, small speculation.
