Kranjcar lines up today at Brighton after a solid second over course and distance yesterday. He returns quickly off the same mark of 62, with Jim Crowley back in the saddle. With consistent form and a favourable draw, he’s well placed to go one better if being turned out again.

Voltaic returns to Brighton today after a solid third over course and distance just yesterday. He was sent for home early and kept on well, suggesting he’s still in good form. With a quick turnaround and a consistent record at this track, he could be in the mix again.

A wide draw is not ideal for him but perhaps that can be offset by the return to this distance. He finished off his race strongly over 6f here last time out and all three of his turf wins have come at this track, including one over this distance. Is on a very workable mark on the pick of his efforts.

The favorite is respected, and should he not be up for it, then Neptune Legend could make a play with Jack Doughty on board, as he is riding well at present. The runner is creeping closer to the winner's frame.

A 5-time sprint winner on the AW who is yet to win on turf, though ran well last time out over 7f at Catterick when unlucky in running as could not get a clear run, eventually finishing 6th. Could do better here granted a clear passage.

Longest shot on the board but there are glimmers of ability which, if Finlay Marsh can elicit a positive ride, may spring a shock against some moderate rivals.
