Bookmakers are now offering odds that we see snow fall in different locations worldwide this Christmas Day with Norway's capital Oslo the favourite to see snow on the 25th.

The latest betting odds make it odds-on at 5/6 that Oslo gets snowfall with temperatures hitting -9 in the Norwegian capital this week as the days get colder and colder.

Bet365's full market gives odds on a whole host of different cities around the world with Tokyo currently having the longest odds of 12/1 to have Christmas snowfall.

Glasgow is the clear favourite to see snow in the UK this Christmas at 2/1

With reports earlier this week from the Met Office saying that snowfall is unlikely in the UK this Christmas, the betting market changed once again for where we could see the white stuff.

Those Met Office findings say that there may be snow in some places in the North later this month with parts of Scotland expected to see snow this year.

William Hill's latest odds say that there's a 33% chance that we see snow falling on Christmas Day in Glasgow this year with Edinburgh just behind in the market.

With the cold weather largely expected up in the North this Christmas, it's the South that dominates the market for the warmest city on Christmas Day this year.

London is the 7/4 favourite to be the warmest city in the UK on Christmas Day this year with the English capital unsurprisingly leading the way in the market.

Glasgow's expected cold weather means that it's out to 16/1 to be the warmest city in the UK on the 25th with just a 5.9% chance given according to the odds.
