Last year was technically a White Christmas in the UK with snow recorded in 5 weather stations

2022 saw a 'Technical White Christmas' in the UK as five weather stations recorded snow or sleet fall on Christmas Day last year with snow spreading further across the UK on Boxing Day.

Three weather stations in Scotland saw snow fall on Christmas Day in 2022 with a further two weather stations in Northern Ireland seeing snow or sleet although most of the UK didn't see snow at all.

The next month or so will start to see predictions from the Met Office around the Christmas period where they will likely highlight if there will be snow over the festive period or not.

Further betting specials include odds on who will have the Christmas Number One this year

William Hill say there's a 50% chance that LadBaby hits the top spot with Ed Sheeran second favourite in the odds at 4/1 to top the charts during the festive period.
