Alfie and Owen remain the favourites to win this year's Race Across The World despite seeing their healthy lead in the journey slashed from more than 23 hours to just 12 minutes ahead of the final leg.

Eugenie and Isabel had an impressive leg which saw them claw back 23 hours on Alfie and Owen as they took a more direct route to Jakarta rather than the scenic route that the latter took.

Despite being gutted that Eugenie and Isabel had clawed back such a lead, Alfie and Owen admitted that it was impressive that mother-and-daughter duo Eugenie and Isabel had clawed back such a large amount of time.

The latest odds now say there's a 66% chance that Alfie and Owen win the race with their slight lead putting them ahead of Eugenie and Isabel in what looks like it may well be a two-horse race.
