Phil Foden has now shorted into 5/4 favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award

Manchester City forward Phil Foden has now moved into 5/4 favourite with UK Betting Sites to win this year's PFA Player of the Year award after he continues to impress for the Champions this season.

Foden has stepped up this season and replaced Kevin De Bruyne in some massive games when the Belgian has been injured and that has seen his odds tumbled in the past month.

The past 6 weeks have seen Foden's odds slide down from 16/1 to 4/1 and then to the 5/4 odds that he currently sits at in Bet365's betting market.

Foden has twice won the PFA Young Player of the Year award, in 2020-21 and 2021-22, and it looks like this could be the season where he wins the main award.

Foden's Man City teammate Rodri is second favourite in the betting odds

Rodri has previously been favourite for the PFA Player of the Year award after his unbeaten spell as a City player still remarkably continues into April.

The Spanish midfielder has been unbeaten for 66 matches in all competitions which is the most ever for a Premier League player and he's 5/2 to win the PFA Player of the Year.

Pep Guardiola rested Rodri at the weekend in City's 5-1 win against Luton but it's expected that he will return in the Champions League against Real Madrid.
