Chinese writer Can Xue remains the bookies favourite at 7/1 to win the Nobel Prize For Literature with the award given towards the end of the year.
Deng Xiaohua, better known by her pen name Can Xue, was in contention for the award back in 2019 and four years on it looks to be the same again.
Paddy Power say there's a 12.5% chance of Xue winning the award according to their betting odds with four writers just behind as joint second favourites.

Sir Salman Rushdie was the betting favourite to win the 2023 Nobel Prize for Literature towards the end of 2022 with his latest book released last month.
Victory City is one of the big releases of 2023 with Salman Rushdie's latest novel officially coming out back on February 7th.
Rushdie's odds to win the award were 4/1 in December but he's now drifted massively in the betting out to the 14/1 8th favourite for the award.
