1/2 odds that there are thunderstorms at this year's Glastonbury

Glastonbury Festival is taking place this weekend at Worthy Farm, hosted by Michael Eavis and his daughter Emily, and it's looking likely to be a warm weekend.

With temperatures in Glastonbury currently at 25c there's going to be a lot of suncream used over the next few days at the festival.

According to the OLBG odds though it's 1/2 that there are thunderstorms at Glastonbury this week with yellow weather warnings already given for the festival.

Glastonbury Weather Specials OLBG Odds Probability
Temperature to hit 30c at Glastonbury 1/4 80.0%
Thunderstorms at Glastonbury 1/2 66.7%
Snowfall at Glastonbury 20/1 4.8%
Any day to be cancelled due to weather 50/1 2.0%

2005 saw the most rain the Festival has ever seen with a month's worth falling in just a day, causing flooding across Glastonbury.

The last time the Festival was held back in 2019 saw the hottest ever Glastonbury with temperature hitting as high as 31c.

The OLBG odds make it 1/2 that there are thunderstorms at Glastonbury this weekend with the warm weather set to take a step back towards the end of the week.

Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar headline Glastonbury 2022

Three massive artists are set to headline this weekend's Glastonbury Festival which is a delayed 50th anniversary special after the Covid-19 pandemic cancelled the last festival.

Neither Aerosmith or Abba will appear at the Festival this weekend, despite odds suggesting they will be a few months ago.

Billie Eilish, 20, will become the youngest solo headliner at Glastonbury with her Friday evening Pyramid Stage performance.

At the other end of the age scale, Paul McCartney will become the oldest solo headliner on Saturday night at the age of 80.

Taylor Swift early favourite to headline 2023's Glastonbury

Taylor Swift was set to be the headliner in the role that Billie Eilish is providing this year back in 2020, but the Festival was cancelled and rescheduled to this year.

McCartney and Lamar stayed on to headline as they were scheduled to, but Swift dropped out and was replaced by Eilish.

OLBG odds make Swift the evens favourite to be a headliner for the 2023 edition of the mega festival.

Glastonbury 2023 Headliners OLBG Odds Probability
Taylor Swift Evens 50.0%
Elton John 2/1 33.3%
Coldplay 3/1 25.0%
Arctic Monkeys 3/1 25.0%
Adele 4/1 20.0%

Previous Glastonbury headliners feature in the market, with Coldplay headlining the festival on four different occasions.

Adele's headline set back in 2016 is known as being one of the all time great sets at the festival.

Taylor Swift is the evens favourite to headline Glastonbury next year after her 2020 headline set was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
