Sweden are the new favourites to win Eurovision with odds of 4/1 now given
Betting odds continue to be offered on the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest and we now have a new favourite with UK Betting Sites to win the famous show this year.
Sweden have been moved into favourites with bookmakers for Eurovision despite the Melodifestivalen 2025 final not taking place until March 8.
Melodifestivalen is the Swedish music contest which chooses the artist who will go on to represent the county at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Such is Sweden's success at Eurovision over the years, with their 7 wins equal with Ireland as the most in history, it's no surprise to see them top the market for this year's event.
William Hill's latest market has Sweden as the 4/1 favourites to win Eurovision with an implied probability of 20% given that it happens.
Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Winner | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Sweden | 4/1 | 20.0% |
Israel | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Finland | 7/1 | 12.5% |
France | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Belgium | 9/1 | 10.0% |

Basel will host the Eurovision Song Contest in 2025
St. Jakobshalle, Basel, will host the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday 17 May after Switzerland won the 2024 event.
Numerous host cities applications were put forward for Eurovision with Geneva coming runner-up to Basel for selection as host of the iconic Song Contest.
St. Jakobshalle will host with a capacity of just over 12,000 and it'll be a massive night of action as Eurovision always is with 26 countries going against each other to be crowned winner.
