Manchester 6/1 to be second favourites with Birmingham drifting right out to 9/1 in the market
Manchester are now second favourites to host next year's Eurovision at 6/1 with Birmingham the biggest market movers.
Birmingham, the second city as they are also known, were 6/4 to host Eurovision at one point but have since drifted out to 9/1 in the market.
A joint decision on the host city will be made between the BBC as the UK’s state broadcaster and the European Broadcasting Union.
It's said that we won't find out who will be host until sometime in Autumn though, with no exact date set.
Graham Norton still 1/4 favourite to host the Eurovision Song Contest next year
Graham Norton remains the betting favourite to be the host of next year's Eurovision Song Contest.
Norton has been the BBC's main commentator for the event for the last 13 years after taking over from Sir Terry Wogan in 2009.
Rylan Clark-Neal is second in the market at 1/2 and has was heavily involved in the BBC's coverage of Eurovision last year.
Eurovision Grand Final Host or Co Host | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Graham Norton | 1/4 | 80.0% |
Rylan Clark-Neal | 1/2 | 66.7% |
Ant and Dec | 4/1 | 20.0% |
Scott Mills | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Emma Willis | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Scott Mills also features in the betting market at 5/1 and he's been a predominant figure in the BBC's coverage of Eurovision in the last decade.
Graham Norton is still 1/4 favourite to host the Eurovision Song Contest next year after bookies installed him as favourite from the off. Norton has long been involved with the BBC's coverage of Eurovision so he seems like the logical choice.
