Having updated this review for LVBet in Ireland, it has to be said the improvement in their football betting offering put them in the mix with the very best in class.

I found the GAA coverage on LVBet better than expected.

The LVBet Live betting offering is both comprehensive and interactive with data screens and live odds and markets to get involved with. They offer a good range of sports, including of course football, tennis and US Sports and superb eSports coverage with live streaming of the action too

Live Streaming

I was both impressed and enthused to find eSports being live-streamed when I logged in to review the website. I wasn't expecting to find any live streams at all having looked for sport previously for another review of the site. So for the time being, if you are looking for sports live streams you may be disappointed but they are one of the few live stream betting sites to offer eSports streams and in-play betting

Betting Odds

We do not currently include LVBet in our Odds Comparison. However, with a quick look at the upcoming racing and football action for today, I note that whilst no odds looked outstanding against competitors [bet365, betvictor and Betbull], there were i the main very similar. On this evidence, I would suggest that they are competitive and you'll not be at a huge disadvantage for casual and recreational sports betting with LVBet

Football Betting

When moving to the football betting section I was greeted with 165 'recommended events' and a further 2115 'PREMATCHES'

European League had full coverage as well as minor leagues and cup competitions such as the Copa Del Rey. Overall excellent coverage

Over 350 different betting markets were typically available for each English Premier League match listed. This variety is up there with the very best football betting sites available in Ireland today

Horse Racing

From previous reviews for LVBet I was not expecting to find horse racing betting available and got excited for just a moment when I saw a horse icon, thinking they may have added it. But no, it was for Chess betting. So there you have it, you can bet on chess at LVBet but you'll neither find horse racing nor greyhounds as a betting option.

Other Sports

Whilst racing does not register with LVBet it doesn't get in the way if you are looking for an online bookmaker in Ireland who doesn't push racing in your face on every visit. That is not a bad thing for some.

Make no bones about it, if you like fringe sports LVbet has you more than covered, and it was pleasing to see good GAA coverage available on the site too.

Navigation and User Experience

I liked the colour scheme of the site despite it being a dark [black/grey] background with white text. Something I generally dislike, but in this case, the fonts they use actually make it work well.

Moving around the site and finding what you are looking for is good, even taking into consideration the vast array of sports and events that are available.

LVBet has done an excellent job of focussing on the user experience of using the site either on desktop or mobile.

Placing a bet, betslip function

Adding selections to the betslip is no more difficult than it should be although it may take a moment to realise you have to select the 'Combi' or 'System' tabs if you want to add more than 1 pick. 

Totals odds are displayed and you get the 'possible winning' screen so you can build those accas for a target return if you get them right.

Confirmation is required.

There is also an E-BETSLIP option where you can print out the slip and take it to a shop to place it. Not sure how useful this is unless you have some depositing issue on the site. I found this to be a bit of a curiosity.

Account management

You have full control of the banking options, but as mentioned I the banking section above, you can not withdraw any more than €5000 in a single day. It is stated this is for security reasons and does make some sense on that level. If you've got packet sat in the bank and there is a security issue, any attempt will be flagged quickly to protect your funds.
Also, be aware that multiple withdrawals in a single week will incur charges.
