Early Career
Harun Isa began his football journey in 1988 with Liria Prizren, a club in the Second Yugoslav League. He quickly became a standout player, netting nine goals and earning a spot in the first team.
Rise to Prominence
In January 1990, he made a significant move to FK Rad in Belgrade, competing in the Yugoslav First League. However, intense competition at FK Rad led him to transfer to FK Priština in January 1991, a top team in the Second League known for its success in Kosovo.
Transition to Germany
Following the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia, Isa moved to Germany. He initially played for Hertha Zehlendorf and then signed with the Bundesliga giant Hertha BSC in 1994. Although his stay was brief, he found more stability with Tennis Borussia Berlin, where he played for four seasons.
Later Career
In 1999, Harun joined FC Erzgebirge Aue but returned to Berlin the next season to play for 1. FC Union Berlin. His final move was to VfL Osnabrück in the summer of 2002. At age 33, Isa played two seasons there before retiring in 2004.

Speaking exclusively to OLBG, former Union Berlin striker Harun Isa has urged Albania star Armando Broja to force a move away from Chelsea this summer.
Isa has also backed Albanian prospect Ernest Muci to be a great fit at Arsenal and Kristjan Asllani to be a future Premier League star, potentially for Aston Villa.
The former Hertha Berlin forward has also hailed Germany as one of the best places to play football in the world ahead of Euro 2024.

HI: “I think Armando Broja should leave Chelsea this summer in order or get more playing time, he might need to join one of the promoted sides but he needs to be playing.”
Q: Which club would suit Ernest Muci in the Premier League?
HI: “I think Ernest Muci would be a great fit in the Premier League and also a great fit at Arsenal. He is an important player for Albania, he is strong and very fast. He would fit in under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.”
Q: Should Kristjan Asllani move to the Premier League this summer?
HI: “I would like to see Kristjan Asllani in the Premier League. It could be with Aston Villa, who are a big club and have such a good coach in Unai Emery.”

HI: “I played in Germany during my career and it was great to play there, I think it is one of the best places to play football in the world.”
