Declan Rice Future Club Betting
-
Man Utd head the list of teams expressing an interest in England midfielder, Declan Rice.
-
Rice played for the Chelsea academy from seven years old until he was 14. Rice's Former club are joint-favorite to win him back
-
Man City and Arsenal are also in the running to charm the 22-year old away from West Ham
Declan Rice has established himself as an ever-present on the West Ham team list and it is indicative of the high esteem, he is held in at the London Stadium in that at twenty-two years old he is the club’s vice-captain.
Rice brought himself to the wider world football audience after a series of impressive performances for England at the recent Euro 2020.
Hammers’ supporters named Rice ‘Hammer of the Year’ in 2020 and he is a big fan’s favourite having already made over 130 appearances for the club. West Ham fans will be desperate to see Rice confirm he has no interest in moving to another club before the summer transfer window closes.
Perhaps though the attraction of moving to a club more likely to win trophies will prove too big a draw for Rice?
The need for a defensive midfielder at Manchester Utd has inevitably brought Rice’s name into the frame, especially as the West Ham player has reportedly turned down two contract offers this summer from his current club.
David Moyes is apparently trying to move on 42 million flop Felipe Anderson in an attempt to free up finances to try and entice Rice to stay. With Anderson on a reported £185,000 per week his exit from the club could put the Hammers in a strong position to keep hold of their star player.
The other club at the head of the betting for Rice’s service is Chelsea. If this move it would be especially poignant for the young player as he was released for the Chelsea Academy as a fourteen-year-old.
