About the NPL Victoria

The National Premier Leagues Victoria is the second tier in Australian football, behind the A-League.

It is part of the Australian National Premier Leagues which is split into regions with league winners competing in a finals tournament.

The league runs from March till September which means we will have free NPL Victoria betting tips for seven months of the year.

NPL Victoria Format and Past Winners

The National Premier Leagues Victoria is the second tier of the NPL and the top tier for the Victoria section.

The league consists of fourteen teams with the league taking place between March and September.

Come to the end of the season the top six teams move on to compete in the Victorian Finals with the winner being crowned Champions.

Meaning the winner of the Premiership is not always the Champions!

The Champion then progresses to the National NPL Finals where there are entered along with other regional champions to compete for the overall championship.

The bottom two in the league are automatically relegated to NPL2 whilst the team finishing in twelve have to play a playoff match to save their position in the league.
