Scottish League Two Format

Scottish League Two (currently known as Ladbrokes League Two due to sponsorship) is the 4th tier of Scottish Football and was reformed in 2013 as part of the merger between the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League.

The 10 teams play each other home and away twice, the 36-match regular season commences in August and concludes with the promotion and relegation playoffs in May. The champions are promoted to Scottish League One, the 2nd and 3rd placed teams meet in a two-legged playoff and the 4th placed team plays the 9th (second bottom) placed team in Scottish League One. The winners of both playoffs then play a two-leg final for a place in Scottish League One.

The bottom team plays a two-leg final against the winner of the Highland and Lowland League play-off final to determine who plays in Scottish League Two in the upcoming season.

The ante-post Scottish League Two Outright Winner and Relegation markets tend not to be dominated by ‘one’ club so are competitive with plenty of betting tips added pre-season and along with individual match betting tips and predictions throughout the season.
