Man Of La Mancha looked strong in his last race at Kempton finishing 3rd. In this field I give Man Of La Mancha a good chance to grab the win.

Lightly raced 3yo filly. Some decent bits of form from the selection last year. She made a winning return early last month. A little unlucky two weeks ago, beaten 2L in an 11 runner class 4 handicap, slowly away, stuck behind runners from 2f out and never getting a chance to get into top gear. Worth another chance in this class 5 contest.

Made a step forward with each run last year, so he is entitled to come on for his return to action at Epsom. He traveled well enough into the race but faded late on, which gave the impression he needed the run. Dropped into a lower grade of race should be another help to him.

Jet Packer showed a bit more spark when third at Leicester last month and might be turning a corner. Back over a mile now with a good draw and Cosgrave booked again, he’s got potential to outrun his current odds of 12/1.

Ran well as a 2-year-old at Epsom in a class 2 event on good ground. 3rd placed Gap Year by 2 lengths ran at this course and distance, finishing a respectable 4th in a class 2 event. Each way play at these odds.

Lightly raced maiden who makes her handicap debut today off a fair mark and showed good form last time out when a useful 2nd of 8 at Bath last month. Crucially, off the same distance, so I think she has every chance to do well today.

LIFE IS ROSIE may have wintered well and does appear an overpriced filly. Her qualifying form reads well and the yard of Ollie Sangster could hardly be in better order. One of the more interesting outsiders with an opening mark which could underestimate her.
