The 5yo was way behind the field turning for home but kept on well to take 4th. 3m today on the same ground will suit much better. With that experience under his belt the point winner can make chasing his game after showing little over hurdles. Tongue tie on and big run anticipated.

Seems to relish it around here as is a course and distance winner over hurdles and was second again last time over C&D. Chase debut now and though did fall in a couple of point to points back in the day comes here with solid course form on decent ground and looks to have conditions to suit. 7lb off will help and if getting round looks a bomb proof ew play to nigh on nowt given course record. Yard in fair form and did have a winner last week. Should go close.

5/1 and 3 places available with WillHill. Travelled very well at Southwell two starts back and won over the same distance, he blundered the last but still won convincingly. He now goes chasing but over the same course & distance where he set a decent speed for the class. David Bass now takes over in the saddle.

Lightly raced chaser who shaped well last time. RPR 100 is solid at this level. Now drops in grade and could build on that effort. Nice each-way value. ??'??

Now back to its last winning mark over chases. On its best preferred distance of 2m3f to 2m7f, it can go on to score. With its runs now at 16, Wins 1, Places (2nd/3rd) 4, Win Rate of 6% and place rate at around 31%, things may just turn around here as he is consistent in mid-pack finishes. Good EW shout but win only.

DEADLY MISSILE has been off for a bit, but he's been close to winning before over fences with today's ground conditions. He wants good ground over soft ground these days, and he's more experienced than most of these despite his absence of 467 days. Any improvement on his past performances could see him involved today.
