Would of landed me (and the thousands of others!) a right touch last time when just denied in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot and if not getting too outpaced and too far back should go close here stepping back up in trip. Was campaigned over further by previous trainer Sir Michael Stoute and there is a chance he'll get well outpaced again but the 7f trip looks ideal based on the Wokingham run. Has to be a player off the same mark here and I'd be disappointed if he couldn't put these away today.

Akkadian Thunder still looks well handicapped. Two wins from nine starts for this Night of Thunder 5yo currently in strong form. Seven furlongs on good to firm ground seems ideal. Well backed favourite and ready winner over 7f at Doncaster on penultimate start. Met a useful winner but ran on well when second of 23 in the Buckingham Palace Stakes (7f) at Royal Ascot. In form William Buick (SR 24%) booked for trainer David O'Meara. Should go well.

Progressive individual who landed a nice prize on the Rowley Mile back in April and produced a career best when 3rd in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot last time. Will appreciate this step back up to 7 furlongs and therefore should run very well once again this afternoon.

Run Boy Run has a good record at Newmarket, which augurs well for this tough handicap. He was badly drawn at Ascot last time, and that killed any chance he might have had. His second to the talented Aramram at Newbury before that is strong form, which puts him in here with a cracking chance.

Drawn on the wrong side in the Buckingham Palace Handicap at Ascot and never got into the race, but had been showing a return to form previously. A wide-open race here if you take out the 11/8 favorite More Thunder, and I can see Billyjoh finishing late from off the pace.

My vote to take this Bet365 Bunbury Cup Class 2 handicap will be going to last year's winner Aalto who was last seen at this venue racing at the 1 mile trip where finishing 9th/10 however that was his seasonal reappearance run after a 286 day break and looked in need of that outing now with that run under his belt Ian Williams's gelded son of Zelzal & Au Dessus ( Dam's sire Siyouni ) is likely to strip fitter and arrives he well prepared to tackle this assignment currently operating on a mark of 92 which is within range and he is 4lb higher than when winning this race last year however the manor he won this race last year in he still looked the winner even of 4lb higher so he shouldn't be underestimated in an attempt to take this race for a second year running jockey Joe Leavy takes the ride and can give Aalto the perfect ride here at Newmarket last year's must enter calculations here

Seventh of thirty in the Royal Hunt Cup over a mile at Royal Ascot last month, but second of seven in his group where the field split and a nose behind Fox Legacy in sixth. Remains on the same mark of 97 and looks each way value dropping in trip.

Course regular Dark Thirty has two wins already this season. Coming good at Salisbury in the latest run. He has a penalty in the saddle but has won from higher ratings in the past. Would be able to get competitive if running to a similar level and is worth trying in the Each Way sphere.

GORAK was close when front-running on seasonal debut and is at the same mark here. That pace style can generally pay off over this trip so even though he's struggled the last twice in this race, I think he's worth another chance at this price as there's potential for him to get involved.

Our Havan sits at the bottom of the handicap here (1lb out of it actually) but has won 1 from 4 in this, which is a better record than all but the top 4 or 5 here. So it's worth a sporting bet to make the frame at huge odds. The first-time booking of the excellent Saffie Osborne is a plus for me, and she has a cracking record at this course (7 from 38 in the last year). Her last win was an easy one over a similar trip and ground off a 5lb lower mark, and he had enough in hand there to suggest he might well outrun his odds here.
