I was at Sandown last December when this dashing grey was the last leg of a four timer punt for me and would of landed a tidy touch but he never jumped a twig before storming up the hill to be an agonising second. That though marked him down as a Bet365 horse for me who was reincarnation of the owner's legend and one of my all time faves Lacdoudal. He duly obliged and landed me the redemption punt and comes here as a bombproof EW play. Won despite trip being too short on seasonal reappearance and despite stiff mark has improved physically this year. Will relish the long home straight herd and if anywhere near jumping the last will power home and go very close with the re-applied cheekpieces he wore for the first time when winning in the spring at Sandown. Massive chance for me.

Looking at their race at Cheltenham, The Changing Man is better in here than Myretown, although the winner was hugely impressive that day. The Changing Man has the benefit of an outing already this season, and the stable simply couldn't be in better form. Whether he is good enough to beat his old adversary is open to question, but he is a very appealing each-way price that can provide a return.

Still good to soft on the chase course here, so the ground should be fine. Very solid last season when beating Resplendent Grey while giving him 3 lbs. Then ran 2nd to The Jukebox Man in the Kempton Grade 1. 2nd again behind Katate Dori in the Ladbrokes Trophy Handicap, doing by a mile the best of the rest. It was a really huge run after having let the winner go so far ahead. Will have needed his reappearance at Cheltenham when traveling well but fading late. Nicky's horses weren't going well at the time anyway. Could still be well handicapped here; however, very competitive race and the six places on offer may be needed.

With the Skelton horses going well, a chance is taken that Panic Attack can follow up its Paddy Power Gold Cup win with another over this longer trip. With a three-pound claimer on board, Panic Attack is only one pound higher than her Cheltenham race. Connections appear quite bullish, even though she has not tasted success over this distance.

The selection was a good third in this £142K handicap chase last year, not doing himself any favours that day with some below-par jumping. He is only slightly higher in the weights now and has won two from four races since. He can return stronger after a seven-month break and has no problem with the soft ground. He is only a 7yo, and we might not have seen the best of him yet.

Based on previous winners of this race, his Dosage profile seems to show his pedigree is made for this race. He also meets the RPRs and trends of previous winners. The trainer and jockey are both very decent in Ireland, and the horse is in form and shows he can run well enough in decent company.

Spanish Harlam looks like he has turned a corner. Won two great races. Stays all day and has been targeted for the Grand National by the master trainer.

Harry De Bromhead is not firing up to his usual standard, but his chasers are doing as well as ever. Monty's Star is class, and he hasn't been seen on the racecourse since April but has raced well when fresh. 4th in the Gold Cup last year.

This horse was favourite for the Grand National for a reason and was the pick of Mark Walsh out of many good JP McManus horses. I cannot believe the price.

This season he has demonstrated notable progress, building on his 2nd-place finish to Spanish Harlem in the Kerry National with a win at Cheltenham last month. The additional 6 lb rise in weight calls for more, but it wouldn't be unexpected for him to meet the challenge. An each-way bet at 22/1 seems quite reliable given his recent form.

Pic Roc won a beginners' chase last time by a wide margin, jumping much better than previously. His handicap mark might be lenient, and if he jumps round he could go close off a low weight.

The more rain, the better for him here. Decent reappearance run over an inadequate trip. Looks like this has been the plan. Bromley takes a welcome few pounds off and a good value option to go close.

Set to carry 10st 2lb with a 7lb claim, reducing that even further. This one will be carrying a featherweight compared to what he normally carries. From the Willie Mullins yard, and I think Mullins believes this one has a big race in him. 2-3-7 in three handicap chases, with two of those under 3m and the other LTO perhaps too far over 3m4f. This 3m2f could be ideal and has a squeak of being placed at least, with six places on offer.
