Encouraging run latest at Southwell on handicap debut. Doesn't scream out he's well handicapped but dropped a pound for this, and given yard's current form is good value to be in the frame.

Really well backed for debut hurdle at Doncaster but seems to have since decided to go down the handicap route. Wind surgery since last run and has to be better than this mark.

Has run well at all trips here on a decent surface and comes here in good form after a solid third at Taunton. Dropped a welcome 2 pounds for this and, at a slightly shorter trip, has a good chance here.
