The Good Biscuit is trained by Ruth Carr and is a previous course-and-distance winner. He has raced a number of times at Pontefract and has won over both five and six furlongs on ground that was either good or soft. He ran well at Chester, and then last time out at Hamilton finished a disappointing eighth of thirteen. The last time he ran at Pontefract he finished second off a mark of seventy-seven. Returning to Pontefract from just a one-pound higher mark, hopefully The Good Biscuit will put in a good performance.
