This year, Five Thousand to One has raced twice on the all-weather. Both of those races were over six furlongs. In his first race he finished ninth, and then last time out he showed considerable improvement when finishing third. Today's race is just under five furlongs. He will probably be doing his best work towards the end of the race, so, provided he doesn't have too much ground to make up, he should be in with a chance. Today he races off the same mark as last time, with Sean Kirran retaining the ride.
