Diamondonthehill has done well without winning for most runs since a short break in December, with all but the latest run being on the AW. However, he did grab a win in April and in May returned to turf with a decent second. He should be able to build on that, as his last turf win was in a C3 off today's mark last year.

Aurora Majesty has ability and is well capable of being involved in the placings if getting out fast. The trainer shows a 16% strike rate at Epsom, and top jockey Hollie Doyle works well together. E/W possibilities.

Marlay Park isn’t a serial winner, but he’s a local runner who handles this track well and wasn’t disgraced in a red-hot 0??'100 handicap contest last time out, finishing midfield. A four-time course winner, he landed his last success here in 2023 with this jockey on board and is now 6lb below that winning mark. He’ll have to overcome the widest draw, but depending on ground conditions, where they often edge towards the stands’ side, that could actually work in his favour. Local trainer Jim Boyle has his string in good form, and this seven-year-old looks capable of hitting the frame in calmer waters. Worth a go at 7/1.

Third at 28-1 on last two outings. Goes well at Epsom and two of last three wins have come over course and distance. Return to seven furlongs at Epsom in his favour. Makes fair appeal at odds of 6-1.

Mafnood started slowly last time at Goodwood but was only beaten 2L. He hasn't won for a long time, but this race is a chance for him to get back to winning ways. Jockey Jim Crowley knows him well and was the last one to win on him, and it's his only ride of the day.

DREAM OF MISCHIEF returns to last winning mark, and has decent course form here at Epsom so could well put the two disappointing runs at Goodwood and Ascot behind him now returning to a preferred track. Grade and Going all look good and he just looks very difficult to rule out.
