Will go with this one for my win bet at 13-2, who was closing on today's current favorite, Ruby's Profit, when 2nd by just 1/2 length, and that was on seasonal debut. Doesn't need much more, and in my opinion, could reverse those placings.

Taking a chance on Richard Fahey to do it again with Stormy Impact chanced in this 3yo dash. I think she’s a big price given her sole run on ground with soft in the going was behind a now 100 rated horse. She’ll need a career best, but that run on GS deserves a watch back as she absolutely breezed into the race in the final furlong there. It seems highly likely plenty of rain will arrive, which I think is a big plus to her chances. If she can break well, I’d hope Fentiman just lets her roll towards the pace on the far rail.

Blinky negated his rail draw at Chester by getting a poor start but still chased down Ruby's Profit, finishing in 3rd, whilst Ruby's Profit could only finish 2nd in the end but went on to win at Goodwood. They met at level weights at Chester, and Blinky now gets nine pounds. Drawn in 18 and 17, they should be close at the finish.

Naanas Sparkle has been in the first four home on the last six occasions and should give another good attempt here with a bonus five places on offer for each-way backers.

He would have a decent chance if getting a soft lead. He was a two-time winner before being hassled in the last race and falling away.

GOLD STAR HERO may have a decent draw high in this five furlong sprint. He comes from a shrewd yard and assuming hev is effective on the forecast soft ground he was aimed high last year and could prove well treated in this handicap division.

Acrisius is trained by northern trainer M D Easterby, who has two in the race. He has a nice low weight, and the jockey takes off another 5 lb.

Inexperienced filly but could well be a bit better than a handicapper in time given form shown so far. Made a pleasing debut staying on well to be fourth at York to Betty Clover and that one was a good fourth in the Duty Free last season and has now placed at Group 2,3 and Listed level. Cut no ice on second start but caught the eye on seasonal debut at Wolverhampton when third in a novice fillies stakes. The second and fifth from that race have both won since and the actual winner and fourth have both been narrowly beaten at Windsor since too. Form stacking up and can go well on handicap debut and what catches my eye is that has an entry for Catterick on Tuesday but comes here instead despite owner having two other runners too. Could have a squeak at a decent price.

Tees Aggregates ran pretty tamely at Leicester on Tuesday. Was fairly weak in the market there and not asked too many questions. That makes sense as a prep run for this race. Previously, kept on well to win at Catterick in early May from OR66 and runs from very low in the handicap here, carrying just 8 stone 2 pounds. In receipt of lumps of weight from some of these. Drawn 15 which is pretty good. Trainer Adrian Nicholls (SR 25%) in good form. Sean D Bowen rides.

I have backed this both runs this season and really thought it would do well last time out, but I think although fitter, it was on the wrong side of the track. It is once again a big price for one that is capable, so I will try once again and hope it's third time lucky.

This horse looks exactly the type that has been laid out for this. There's plenty of rain in the forecast and on breeding, you'd have to say that the horse could well improve for a first-ever run on softish ground. The trainer has only had the horse for one race when he wasn't knocked about and gets to race off the same mark here. I've been hugely impressed by the jockey booked recently, and his first-time booking also catches the eye. The horse's 2nd in a decent novice race at Sandown is the piece of form which gives him a major chance here, and when the rain gets into the ground, the high numbers should be favored, so 16 of 18 is ideal.

CONVO reunites with Tom Marquand who rode this filly for her former trainer. She was pitched into Group 3 company in the Albany at Royal Ascot for Amy Murphy last year and she may have needed more time potentially peaking as a sprinter now.

I'm not a huge fan of Epsom with its quirky up, down turning into a camber at the finish, but it does mean that course form is a big plus. ELOUISES PRINCE doesn't have that course form but has shown great speed and balance in winning twice last season. A huge price for one that looks very capable of running a big race. Did run a bit of a stinker on seasonal debut at York, but that's easily forgiven as it blew very hard and likely that will have blown cobwebs away.
