Slot Details
The Outsourced slot comes with 4 reels, 4 rows and 256 ways to win. Landing 3 or 4 matching symbols from left to right on adjacent reels will constitute a winning combination. Winning symbols need to start from the leftmost reel with only the highest win per way to win awarded.
In terms of betting options, you can play Outsourced from 20p to £100 per spin. At some UK sites, the maximum bet may be limited to £10 or even as low as £5 a spin. To change your bet, use the Coins button and choose from the options available. Non-UK players can opt for Autoplay (up to 1,000 auto spins with single win and balance limits) and Turbo Mode (to make the reels spin faster).
The Outsourced RTP rate is 96.08% which is higher than the online slot game average of around 96%. 64.89% of that return is attributed to the base game with 31.17% for the bonus features. Nolimit City has also produced 94.08% and 92.06% RTP alternative versions which may be used at your favourite slot site or casino (check in the Paytable).
The volatility or variance is in the extreme category (10/10), as are most Nolimit City slots. Winning combinations will land every 4.47 spins on average as the hit frequency rate is 22.38%. To trigger the free spins, you can expect that to happen every 355 spins on average.
Lastly, the Outsourced slot comes with 5,000 times bet max wins. Winning 100 times your total bet or higher will occur every 771 spins on average with the 5,000 times bet max win probability at 1 in 185,000 spins.

Outsourced Expert Review
Theme, Audio + Symbols
With an office/sweatshop theme, the Outsourced slot is based on a sweatshop where various weird products are made. Graphically, you enter a factory where things are mass-produced to save time and ultimately maximise profits.
Graphically, it has a 90s feel like the Nine to Five and Brick Snake 2000 slot games from NLC. Reminding me of Beavis and Butthead visually, the soundtrack is rather quirky which is a more upbeat version of boring office elevator music. The game pokes fun at the outsourcing concept essentially.
On the reels, you’ll come across A, K, Q and J royals. The higher-value symbols include products made in the factory such as creepy plastic hands, yellow dragon heads, trainers, portable gaming devices (which looks like a Gameboy) and very odd plastic baby heads. The plastic baby head symbol is the best-paying awarding 0.5 times your total bet for 4 in combination.
Then there is a Wild symbol which substitutes for all paying symbols above. 4 Wilds in combination pay 0.5 times your total bet. Other special symbols include xWays, xNudge Wilds and Scatters. With more details on these in the Bonus Features section, find a list of symbol payouts and functions below:
- A/K/Q/J: 3 or 4 = 0.05 x bet
- Trainers/Yellow Dragon Head/Plastic Hand: 3 or 4 = 0.1 or 0.15 x bet
- Gaming Device: 3 or 4 = 0.15 or 0.25 x bet
- Plastic Baby Head: 3 or 4 = 0.25 or 0.5 x bet
- Blocker: Revealed by the xWays symbol, it performs no function + awards no payouts
- Wild: Substitutes for paying symbols + pays 0.5 x bet
- xWays: Adds 2-4 low or medium-paying symbols
- Scatter: Triggers 1 of 2 free spins features
Outsourced Mobile
With Nolimit City using HTML5 technology to create their slot games, Outsourced can be enjoyed on mobile, tablet, laptop and PC devices. If you play on your smartphone, it’s compatible with Android and iOS devices. There is a specific Portrait Mode available which makes better use of your mobile screen.
Bonus Features
Outsourced comes with 9 bonus features. xWays increase the number of ways to win and xNudge Wilds see the wild multiplier increasing by 1 with every nudge. Every win triggers the Print Spins feature where successive wins sees the symbol multipliers increase by 1 for every Print Spin. In the 2 free spins features, you get 3 and 5 free spins respectively. Landing the M, A, K and S symbols will award the game’s max win. Then there are Nolimit Boosters and a host of Bonus Buy options.
xWays
When a red xWays symbol lands on the reels, it will either reveal a low or medium-value paying symbol. 2 to 4 instances will appear increasing the number of ways to win.
If multiple xWays symbols land on the reels, all xWays symbols will reveal to same symbol. Additionally, it can reveal a blocker symbol which is 1x1 in size.
xNudge Wild
Like other Nolimit City games such as Apocalypse, the xNudge Wild symbol can land anywhere on the reels. Always nudging to be fully visible, the wild multiplier increases by 1 for every nudge.
If multiple xNudge Wild symbols appear on the reels, their multiplier values are added to each other/totalled to produce a total win multiplier.
Print Spins
When you land a winning combination, the Print Spins feature will be triggered. Winning symbols disappear which leaves gaps for new symbols to come in. Importantly, the multiplier on those winning symbols increases by 1 for each Print Spin. Multipliers only count on regular paying symbols. The feature ends when no more wins are formed.
If an xWays symbol lands during the Print Spins feature, its reveal symbol size multiplies with the increased multiplier on that position during the payout. The symbol multiplier on the winning xWays symbol position will revert to the previous value plus 1.
Extra Spin feature
Sweatshop Spins
The Sweatshop Spins feature is triggered by landing 3 Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. With 3 free spins awarded, any symbol multipliers from the base game are kept during the feature.
Sweatiershop Spins
4 Scatter symbols will give you 5 free spins in the Sweatiershop Spins feature. It works like the Sweatshop Spins feature but with 2 additional free spins.
God Mode
You can win the Outsourced slot game’s max win of 5,000 times your total bet if you trigger the God Mode feature. To do this, you need to land the M, A, K and S symbols during a base game spin. The max win is called MAKS WIN.
The God Mode feature appears as a Bonus Buy option in the Loner slot.
Nolimit Booster
The Nolimit Booster feature comes with 3 options to enhance your gameplay. Below are all the details:
- xBet: This will cost you 1.5 times your total bet. For this extra investment, you are 4 times more likely to trigger the Sweatshop or Sweatier Spins features with a guaranteed Scatter symbol on reel 2. The RTP rises to 96.09%.
- Print Spins: For 2 times your total bet, you are guaranteed a spin with a 2x multiplier on all positions. The RTP rate is 96.11%
- Printier Spins: For 90 times your total bet, you are guaranteed a 5x multiplier on all positions. The RTP rate is 96.07%.
Nolimit Bonus
The Outsourced slot comes with a Nolimit Bonus feature for non-UK players. With 4 options, they cost between 60 and 1,300 times your total bet. The RTP rates also differ:
Option | Cost | RTP |
---|---|---|
Sweatshop Spins | 60 x bet | 95.92% |
Sweatiershop Spins | 200 x bet | 95.98% |
God Mode | 1,300 x bet | 96.17% |
Lucky Draw | 130 x bet | 95.95% |
The Lucky Draw option sees you have a 50/50 chance of playing the Sweatshop or Sweatiershop Spins feature.
Expert Verdict
The Outsourced slot is a typical Nolimit City production. With the overwhelming majority of products mass-produced, NLC has a little pop at today’s norm where we all consume and purchase the same products that lack differentiation and uniqueness.
Graphically, it works well with the retro-style visuals. In the various bonus features, the backdrops and soundtrack change which are odd to say the least. With the Sweatshop and Sweatier Shop features, the key is to land successive wins to build up the symbol multipliers.
With 5,000 times bet max wins, Outsourced offers much smaller potential than many other Nolimit City slot games. It’s a world away from Tombstone RIP which comes with 300,000 times bet max wins (making it the highest payout slot available online). That said, the max win probability of 1 in 185,000 spins is a lot more feasible than the odds for winning the same amount in other slot games.
Nolimit City has removed the Slash Game feature which is a gamble game which can be exercised after you land the maximum win of 5,000 times your total bet. You need to stop the machine before it cuts the hand to win anything between 5,000 and 50,000 times your total bet. If you don’t do so, you will lose your 5,000 times bet win. Instead, Nolimit City has created the Outsourced: Slash Game which forms part of our best Crash games list.
The Outsourced slot may not be the best produced by Nolimit City but that is due to the very high bar they’ve set themselves with countless, previous releases. I quite like it personally but the win potentially will see it overlooked for other games with offer the same mechanics and bigger max wins.
