As with all of our slot game reviews it’s important that we go through the key features of the game so you know what to look out for before you play it.
Thanks to our review we will go through Tombstone RIP’s theme as well as the different ways you can win in the game with the reels and paylines given further detail.
Theme – Western
The theme of Tombstone RIP sees us in the middle of the Wild West with characters that are expected to die according to the text at the bottom of the stand.
Loading into the game at first sees you have a mini-game before you even see the slot itself with various questions asked to you that you have to choose the correct answer to before you can enter the game itself. Answering incorrectly gives you another question and so on before you answer rightly and get into the game which can be frustrating itself.
The first 5 symbols on the paytable are the classic 10, J, Q, K, A but then we have 5 premium symbols which are all cowboys from the Wild West.
The wild symbol in this slot can be the regular wilds which land on reels 2, 3, 4 and 6 with the Reel Split Wild symbols only being able to land on the middle 3 reels. xNudge Wilds are stacked wild symbols that will always nudge to be fully visible. These symbols are the ones which are extremely graphic with these wilds featuring one of the cowboys hanging.
Tombstone RIP features a 5-reel, 2-3-3-3-1 row setup with each row fitting in with the western theme of the slot.
The xRip feature of the game means that any spin in the main game or bonus game that gives a payout lower than the base bet that you play will not land. This means that you can’t win anything less than the amount that you spin.
There are 108 win ways by default in the Tombstone RIP slot and the simulated max payout is 300,000x. Win multipliers can be built by the xNudge wilds on the slot and in the Boothill Freespins you can have multipliers on those symbols from 5x up to 999x.
With the slot's appearance and the number of winning ways now available for you above it’s now time for the big one for you – the slot’s RTP. The theoretical Return to Player percentage of the Tombstone RIP slot is 96.08%. That RTP increases when you do the 10% plus enhanced bet with the RTP then changing to 96.28%.
As always this percentage is not cast in stone, and online casinos often alter these figures according to their current policies. To spare you the trouble, we shared a list of UK casinos where you can play this game and the respective RTPs found there.
For an even more informed decision, we advise you to check our reviews and read about the casino's welcome bonuses and deals, game libraries, customer care, payment options, and other things available in each casino.
Several top-ranking operators have the Tombstone RIP slot in their offer, and many of them include a solid RTP for this title. Those who want to try other releases in well-established casinos should check the list of slot sites we recommend.
Before playing this game you should learn about the stake range that the Tombstone RIP slot has. With such a high max win given on this slot the highest stakes provided on some sites are just 80p. The lowest stake is 10% with the stake section on the left enabling you to change the values quickly.
The bottom of the slot has an On/Off button which allows you to switch on the enhanced bet that costs 10% more of your stake but guarantees a scatter symbol on the second reel.
The Tombstone RIP online slot limits the maximum win at 300,000x the player’s bet.
Hang ‘Em High Free Spins on Tombstone RIP can be achieved by hitting 3 scatter symbols. This automatically then triggers 8 free spins with a starting 1x win multiplier that can go up based on what symbols you then hit.
The win multiplier is increased by regular Wilds (1x) Reel Split Wilds (2x) and xNudge Wilds (1x-3x) and that multiplier remains throughout the free spins feature. You can also upgrade to the Boothill Freespins in the standard Hang ‘Em High feature if you land the Boothill Scatter symbol on the last reel, which then also awards an extra 2 additional spins.
Landing the 3 Hang ‘Em High scatter symbols with a Boothill Scatter symbol on the final reel will activate 10 Boothill Freespins. These spins are where it starts to get interesting with the biggest potential for big payouts here.
The win multiplier increases like the basis free spins feature but each spin the Cowboy symbol that lands on the last reel turns all symbols of that type into wilds.
Each spin sees a random multiplier given to a random Cowboy symbol, ranging from 5x to 999x with the 999x symbol on every row getting you a max win.
The Tombstone RIP online slot game doesn’t have a jackpot prize but has the biggest Max win available of any slot game with 300,000x there to be won.

Play Experience & First Impressions
My experience of this slot is a mixed one with the opening of the slot starting off almost like a mini-game in itself with questions asked on the screen so that you can enter.
If you get these questions wrong it keeps asking you until you get in and that can be frustrating if you want to get into the game and play it.
The slot itself is an interesting one like a lot of Nolimit City games with it usually hard to get into the bonus but to my surprise I got in during my 100 spins test.
My first impressions of the slot were that it feels eerie with the graphics interesting to say the least. The hanging graphics that are shown come as a shock and could probably have more of a warning for those that are playing it.
As with all Nolimit City slots the game itself plays smoothly without any sort of issues and the game makes it clear to show you your winnings every time you hit something.
The gameplay itself gave me a positive experience but my session RTP of 74% with the 100 spins test despite triggering a bonus was an unsuccessful one. The win frequency feels very low and that is probably down to the fact that you can’t win lower than your stake, with other providers having a lot of wins under the stake on their games.
During my 100 spin test the Hang ‘Em High Free Spins bonus was landed with that bonus paying out 31x and the game took 80 spins to land the bonus which you feel is quite rare with teases not coming about too often.
