With lots to cover in the Tombstone Slaughter slot, I thought I would begin by explaining that the rightmost reel (i.e. reel 6) will only contain 2-high stacked Revolver or character symbols. The reel is inactive if half symbols land. Below, you’ll find details on the various bonus features including xRIP, xNudge, Quick Draw, Slaughter Spins, Massacre Spins and El Gordo's Revenge Meter. Remember, revenge is a dish best-served cold.
xRIP
Are you ready? For starters, any spin in the base game or any bonus feature that awards a win that is less than your total bet will see the xRIP feature triggered. It means that no payout is awarded.
xNudge Wild
An xNudge Wild symbol always nudges to become fully visible and take over the reel. Appearing on the 4 middle reels, each nudge sees the wild multiplier increase by 1.
When a part of the xNudge Wild symbol appears on the reels, it nudges up or down until it’s fully visible on that reel. Multiple xNudge Wilds on the reels will see the multiplier values added to each other for a total wild multiplier value.
Slaughter Scatter
Look out for the Slaughter Scatter symbol as it only appears on the 4 central reels. Whilst landing 3 will trigger a free spins game (more information on those below), landing just 2 Slaughter Scatters will see them transform into Reel Split Wilds as well as splitting itself on other symbols on that reel in half. This doubles the number of symbols on that reel for more ways to win.
Quick Draw
Look out for the Revolver symbol which appears only on the last reel (i.e. reel 6) in the base game as well as the Slaughter Spins and Massacre Spins features. When you land a full Revolver symbol, you will activate 3 to 6 Cylinder features:
- Backstab Wild: transforms a random paying symbol on reels 2-5 wild.
- Shootout Wild: transforms all instances of a random paying symbol on reels 2-5 wild.
- xSplit: splits a randomly chosen symbol and doubles its size on reels 2-5. In the case of an xNudge, the multiplier is doubled.
- Infectious xSplit: splits all instances on reels 2-5 of a randomly chosen symbol and doubles its size.
- Justice Wild: places an x Wild at the position of a randomly chosen character symbol on reels 2-5, which then nudges up until the top of the reel. Each nudge increases the wild multiplier by 1.
- Boothill Multiplier: randomly selects a character symbol and gives a win multiplier ranging from 5x to 999x.
Slaughter Spins
Tombstone Slaughter comes with 2 free spins features. First up is the Slaughter Spins feature which is triggered by landing 3 Slaughter Scatter symbols during a base game spin (simultaneously). 5 free spins are awarded.
The last/rightmost reel always displays a full-character symbol containing a random wild multiplier between 5x and 99x or a Revolver symbol.
Under the reels, you’ll see El Gordo’s Revenge Meter which begins at level 1 and can go up to level 5 (more details on this further down). As well as the Cylinder features from the base game, the Revolver can also trigger the following features:
- Killcount Multiplier: awards a multiplier between 1x and 89x to the future levels (or last level) on El Gordo’s Revenge Meter.
- Revenge Level Up: fills all the spots on El Gordo’s Revenge Meter which upgrades you to the next level.
If you trigger the feature with 4 Slaughter symbols in the base game, you’ll get 5 free spins as well as 2 spots on El Gordo’s Revenge Meter filled in. There is also an upgraded xNudge Multiplier for each revenge level as 1x, 4x, 5x, 6x and 7x respectively. Landing a full Revolver symbol upgrades the remaining free spins to the Massacre Spins feature with 2 additional free spins.
Massacre Spins
The Massacre Spins feature is triggered in the base game by landing 3 Slaughter Scatter symbols plus 1 Revolver symbol. 5 free spins are awarded. As well as the Slaughter Spins features, the Revolver symbol is sticky (remains fixed in position) on the last reel.
If you trigger the feature with 4 Slaughter Scatter symbols plus 1 Revolver symbol, you’ll get 5 free spins as well as 2 spots on El Gordo’s Revenge Meter filled in. There is also an upgraded xNudge multiplier for each revenge level as 1x, 4x, 5x, 6x and 7x respectively.
El Gordo’s Revenge Meter
As mentioned in the 2 free spins features, you’ll see El Gordo’s Revenge Meter under the reel area. Beginning at level 1 and going up to level 5, the starting multiplier for the xNudge wild is 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x respectively.
Look out for Bonus symbols landing during the free spins features on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Each Bonus symbol rewards you with 1 extra free spin on the current level and fills El Gordo’s Revenge Meter by 1 spot.
This also increases the multiplier for future levels by 1. When you collect 4 Bonus symbols, the revenge meter moves to the next level (once all the current free spins have played out).
Nolimit Booster
Tombstone Slaughter: El Gordo’s Revenge also benefits from the Nolimit Booster feature. Increasing your chances of landing Slaughter symbols, the RTP rate also increases (the rates shown are for the highest RTP setting).
- xBet: At a cost of 1.2 x your total bet, you are guaranteed a Slaughter Scatter symbol on reel 2. The RTP rises to 96.1%.
- Super xBet: At a cost of 15 x your total bet, you are guaranteed 2 Slaughter Scatter symbols. The RTP rate increases to 96.17%.
- xNudge Booster: At a cost of 35 x your total bet, you are guaranteed 2 xNudge Wilds. The RTP rate is 96.12%.
- xNudge & Revolver Booster: At a cost of 3,000 x your total bet, you are guaranteed 1 xNudge Wild plus 1 fully stacked Revolver symbol. The RTP rate is 96.13%.
The latter 2 options are not available to UK players.
