Released on the 12^th of January 2021, the San Quentin slot has a prison theme. Inspired by the oldest prison in California, it’s the state’s only death row for male inmates and has featured in various films and series. Enhancer Cells

Transforming into a Wild symbol, only certain symbols can appear in Enhancer Cell positions. These include the 5 high-value inmate characters, Wilds, a Razor Split or xWays. Here is what the latter two symbols do:

Split Wilds

Look out for Split Wild symbols which can appear on all 5 reels. When they land, the Split Wild feature is triggered which then splits all regular symbols on the same reel. This results in more ways to win with 46,656 ways to win possible.

Lockdown Spins

San Quentin’s focus is the Lockdown Spins feature which is triggered by landing 3, 4 or 5 Tower Bonus symbols anywhere in view. Taking 230 spins to activate (on average), you head to a new screen where the number of free spins and the multiplier is randomly determined.
