Bookies offer odds on when the new Toy Story movie will be released after Disney CEO Bob Iger confirms production

Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that a new Toy Story movie is currently in production and a variety of betting specials are now given around the movie's release.

OLBG have looked further into the different markets for more of a sense of when the film will be released, who could star in the film and what characters could meet their end.

The latest betting odds suggest that we won't see Toy Story 5 until the end of September at least with the current betting line given that the release will be sometime past September 1 2025.

Bookies say there's a 40% chance that we'll see the movie hit the cinemas at some point before then with a release of before September 1 2025 given odds of 6/4 to happen.

Odds given on famous voices that will feature in the movie

Some of the worlds biggest celebrities could well make an appearance in the new Toy Story movie with the last release, Toy Story 4, featuring Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, Keanu Reeves.

Tom Hanks plays Woody in the film and it's unclear as of yet if he will return, but as one of the main characters you'd assume that he will do.

Plenty of famous American celebrities feature in the betting market for an appearance in Toy Story 5 with Keanu Reeves and Keegan-Michael Key both in the top of the betting to make a return.

Famous Voices in Toy Story 5OddsProbability
Joan Cusack5/116.7%
John Cusack5/116.7%
Keanu Reeves6/114.3%
Keegan-Michael Key6/114.3%
Kelsey Grammar6/114.3%

We could also see some of the biggest characters in the film die according to the markets

Of course the Toy Story franchise is primarily aimed at children but that hasn't stopped further betting specials offered on some of the biggest characters dying.

Mr and Mrs Potato Head sit towards the top of the betting market to see their end in the next Toy Story release with Woody and Buzz also featuring in the Top 5 of the market.

Woody and Buzz being killed off in the film would really signal the end of the Toy Story franchise and that could well be the way in which the story is wrapped up.

Character to be killed off in Toy Story 5OddsProbability
Mr Potato Head4/120.0%
Mrs Potato Head6/114.3%
Woody8/111.1%
Slinky10/19.1%
Buzz Lightyear12/17.7%
