Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is now 2/1 to join Turkish side Galatasaray
With the summer transfer window now firmly upon us, Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has seen his odds slashed to just 2/1 with betting sites to join Turkish giants Galatasaray before the window slams shut.
McTominay has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Turkish club according to journalist Emre Kaplan in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday evening.
Those reports state that McTominay will be paid an annual fee of 5.5m Euros per year and United and Galatasaray are now just working on the final negotiations to get the transfer done.
Paddy Power's latest betting odds say there's a 33% chance of the deal happening this summer with a chance of the Turkish side signing him for around €20 according to those same reports from above.

McTominay also linked with a move to Fulham in the summer transfer window
Fulham have also been linked with a move for McTominay in the summer window with the London side looking for a replacement for Joao Palhinha after he left for Bayern Munich.
That deal has been rumoured to have been worth £42m and United now know that Fulham have a big transfer budget to spend on a replacement for their midfield talisman.
Despite the London side being linked with a move for McTominay, bookies still have them at 7/2 to sign the midfielder with those odds putting them as the third favourites behind Tottenham.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is second favourite to be first manager to leave this season
Erik ten Hag is the second favourite in the betting market to be the first manager to leave his role in the Premier League this season behind Eddie Howe.
The Manchester United boss signed a new one-year extension to his contract at the start of July despite rumours at the end of last season that the United board were going to sack him.
United's FA Cup Final victory against rivals City may have changed their minds and saved ten Hag in his role as United manager, but bookmakers have him at 11/2 to be the first to leave.
First Premier League Manager to go 24/25 | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Eddie Howe | 9/2 | 18.2% |
Erik ten Hag | 11/2 | 15.4% |
