Julen Lopetegui has shortened back into favourite to be the next Premier League manager to go

West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui has now moved back into odds-on favourite with betting sites to be the next Premier League manager to leave with the Hammers losing heavily on Saturday.

Arsenal travelled to the London Stadium looking to keep their title hopes alive and did so in style with a 5-2 thrashing of West Ham and this instantly saw Lopetegui's odds slashed into 6/4 to go next.

Lopetegui's odds had drifted following Monday night's away win against Newcastle but that was short lived with a 40% probability now given that he leaves next.

BetVictor's betting market sees bottom side Southampton's manager Russell Martin just behind Lopetegui with his odds currently at 2/1.

What the expert says...
West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui has shortened back in to 6/4 to be the next Premier League manager to leave after his Hammers side were thumped at home to Arsenal on Saturday. The market had moved around following the Hammers away win to Newcastle on Monday but that has all changed a week later.

Pep Guardiola now 16/1 to go next after another loss for Man City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is now just 16/1 to be the next manager to be sacked after his side reached 7 games without a win on Sunday with a 2-0 loss to Liverpool.

Guardiola recently signed a two-year contract extension with the Citizens but that hasn't stopped City's woes continuing with 6 losses and a draw in their last 7.

This has now seen his odds tumble down to 16/1 to be sacked next with the pressure continuing to rise on City as they look to end their terrible run of form.

Liverpool now odds-on favourites to win the league

Betting odds continue to be offered on the Premier League title race with Liverpool now as short as 4/7 to win the league this season.

The Reds 2-0 win against City on Super Sunday saw them stretch their lead at the top of the table with the title race not looking like much of a battle this season.

Arsenal are 9 points behind the Reds in the table and are 11/4 second favourites in the betting market to lift the Premier League.
