South Africa are the underdogs against New Zealand for Saturday's Rugby World Cup Final

Saturday's Rugby World Cup Final should be an enticing battle with New Zealand facing off against South Africa in Paris and bookies are offering odds on who will win.

New Zealand are the odds-on favourites at 8/11 to win the World Cup in a game where both sides are bidding to become the first nation to win a fourth Rugby World Cup.

The two sides have met once previously in a Rugby World Cup Final in an iconic game in Johannesburg in 1995 that saw the nation of South Africa unite.

Fast forward nearly 30 years on and the two giants in Rugby Union meet once more with South Africa given odds of 13/10 to win back-to-back World Cups.

The Springboks are England's bogey team according to latest data research

Latest research from OLBG has looked at who the bogey teams are for England's Rugby side as they lost once again to South Africa in the semi-final of the Rugby World Cup.

England were beaten by the Springboks in the 2019 World Cup Final and have a poor record in general against them with just 16 wins in 46 meetings between the two sides.

There have been 6 meetings between the two sides at the Rugby World Cup with South Africa coming up trumps in 5 of them with England's only win coming in the 2003 edition.

Brazil and Australia are bogey team's for the England Football and Cricket sides respectively

Looking at England in other sports throws up even more bogey sides with Football and Cricket both having specific opponents that get the better of us more often than not.

Despite Germany usually being the villain for England, the Three Lions do hold a victory against them in the 1966 World Cup Final but have NEVER beaten Brazil.

Brazil have won three and drawn one against England at the World Cup with the latest meeting coming back in 2002 when Seaman was lobbed by Ronaldinho.

England's cricketers have their bogey side as Australia which will come as no surprise to anyone with the Aussies being long rivals for England in Cricket.

The Cricket side are the current World Cup holders and beat Australia in the Semi-Final of the 2019 tournament despite having been beaten by their rivals in the Group Stage.

That win though was one of just three over the years in the Cricket World Cup with Australia winning 6 of the 9 meetings between the two sides at the tournament.
