Arsenal face Liverpool in the headline game of the weekend on Super Sunday

Premier League football returns once again this weekend after a busy European schedule in the midweek and two teams who featured in the Champions League face off against each other on Super Sunday.

Arsenal host Liverpool at the Emirates on Sunday with both sides looking to take a big early stride in the title race as the 3rd placed Gunners take on the league leaders.

Arne Slot's men have had a strong start to the season with just one blip coming in a home defeat to Nottingham Forest but other than that they have won 7 of their 8 games.

Mikel Arteta however knows that a loss here would already see his side 7 points off the Reds at the top of the table and already well behind in their title challenge.

It's Arsenal who are the favourites to win this game with Bet365's latest odds putting them just ahead of Liverpool in the WDW market, with free bets also available on the game with other betting sites.

Manchester City look to go top of the table for at least 24 hours against Southampton at the Etihad

Saturday's Premier League action sees Manchester City host Southampton at the Etihad with Pep Guardiola's men looking to fire their way to the top of the league for 24 hours at least.

Erling Haaland's brace against Sparta Prague in City's 5-0 win on Wednesday night will have caused concern for Russell Martin's side who will be hoping to keep the Norwegian star quiet on Saturday.

Haaland is as short as 2/5 to score against the Saints on Saturday with the odds only 11/2 for him to grab his third hat-trick of the season in this game.

Three goals on Saturday would see Haaland move into joint third favourite alongside Robbie Fowler for all-time Premier League hat-tricks with 9.

Premier League title odds are still being offered by bookmakers

The latest betting odds on the Premier League title race sees Manchester City move back into favourites at 11/8 to win the title for the fifth season in-a-row.

Arsenal had shortened into favourites after their draw away at City earlier on in the season saw added confidence given to Arteta's team but their 2-0 loss to Bournemouth last weekend changed the market around.

The Gunners have now drifted to 5/2 to win the league with Liverpool joint second favourites alongside them in what already looks to be a three-horse race for the title.
